About this project

Bunzl, a leading wholesale distributor of packaging materials with global presence, faced substantial growth at their location in Arnhem, resulting in insufficient storage capacity.

It became evident that further expansion was necessary, aiming to consolidate all storage facilities in-house at a central location in Haps. In their quest for a suitable partner, Bunzl turned to Cor Verkolf.

Bunzl's Inquiry

Henk Willems, Logistics Manager at Bunzl, states: “In Arnhem, we focus on three key sectors: Food, Non-Food, and E-commerce. Our current facility in Arnhem was designed to accommodate several years of growth, but the expansion occurred more rapidly than anticipated. Consequently, we initiated an investigation into expanding to a new location. Meanwhile, we utilized external storage and sought to bring it in-house to serve our customers with our own personnel and take the logistics into our own control.”
