Why Shuttle Racks from the Verkolf Group?
Do you have a warehouse with a limited variety of products? Do you have high storage density and bulk goods? Then shuttle racking is the ideal solution. Like drive-in racking, shuttle racking consists of multiple channels. Each channel stores a specific product type. The shuttle system can be used in either FI-FO (first in, first out) or LI-FO (last in, first out) modes.
The main difference with drive-in racking is the electrically powered shuttle. This automatically transports a pallet to the correct location after it’s placed in the corresponding channel. With shuttle racking, you don’t have to drive into the channel yourself. The advantage? With shuttle racking, you have more flexibility in your pallet placement. You can easily create longer channels.

Safety in shuttle systems
Safety is paramount. Maximize employee safety and minimize potential damage to the structure.
The shuttle system is compact, and repairing any damage is quite expensive. With impact protectors placed in front of the uprights, you can easily prevent the forklift from hitting the uprights when setting down the shuttle. The impact protectors ensure that the truck stops in time.
